Fitness Centre

The CLC Fitness Centre offers a diverse range of fitness and recreation programs, activities and services designed to encourage an active, healthy lifestyle! We welcome community, staff and students to come speak with our fitness staff so we can help you achieve your fitness goals!  

Fitness Centre Features

  • Ascent Trainers, Ellipticals, Rowers, Climbill, Upright, Recumbent bikes and spin bikes. All cardio equipment is equipped with 16” televisions, Virtual Active courses, Netflix, and internet.
  • 200 metre three lane indoor track. Strollers are permitted but must be cleaned prior to entering the facility.
  • Life Fitness Circuit Series, features nine stations for a total body workout.
  • Three Olympic racks and platforms, selectorized and plate loaded strength equipment, cable motion - multi use, and free weights.
  • Racquetball/Squash court is available to member and non-member bookings.
  • Outdoor Centre programs and equipment rentals.
  • Changerooms, lockers (daily use, long-term rental), showers.

Facility Orientation

New to the Fitness Centre? Not quite sure what the equipment does, or how to use it? Join one of our Personal Trainers for a non-intimidating 30 minute introduction to the Fitness Centre. We will go over cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, and proper etiquette. To inquire about booking a Facility Orientation contact the CLC Fitness Centre.

High Performance Centre

The High Performance Centre is located in the CLC Fitness Centre, and is equipped with a variety of strength and condition equipment. This space can be utilized for athletic training, fitness classes, rentals, and public access (designated times only).
